New tag team champions will be crowned by Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live

According to WWE.com, Shane McMahon will announce the new champions of the tag team when the SmackDown Live is on live, scheduled on May 7.

This is likely to be obvious to all WWE fans, as the SmackDown Live tag team Championships has been vacated recently, while Jeff Hardy and Matt could not hold the titles on the April 30 due to Jeff’s knee surgery.

Normally, WWE needs to run a tournament to choose the champions for the new chapter, but unfortunately, it is unlikely to happen, because of the short time. Thus, Shane needs to announce the Triple Threat or a Fatal 4-Way Match, with which they can announce the next champions.

Also on this WWE SmackDown Live episode, Money In The Bank will be very interesting with 6 women divided into two competitors, including Bayley, Ember Moon and Carmella teamed up to face with Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose and Charlotte Flair.

This week, we will also witness the reply of Kevin Owens to the attack of Kofi Kingston one week ago. Also, in this episode, three members for the Raw roster will be revealed to know who will use the “wildcard rule”. It would be a big surprise for the fans.

So here are some outstanding features of this show episode:

  • Kevin Owens responds to Kofi Kingston
  • Shane McMahon crowns new SmackDown Live Tag Champions
  • Andrade and Ali meet up again to square off
  • The tag team match for blue brand among six women.

With Shane McMahon announce new titleholders this week, a new duo will replace The Hardy Boyz for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. It would be the most highlighted feature of this episode. Be updated and follow us with new updates for the WWE news and articles!
